Collateral Equipment Program Management Officer

Scope: Serves as a Collateral Equipment Program Management Officer, providing support of Military Construction (MILCON) projects for Marine Corps Activity Guam (MCAG).

Responsibilities

  • Support, assist, and provide coordination of MILCON Program for Marine Corps Activity Guam (MCAG).
  • Develop, review, and recommend Collateral Equipment Requirements.
  • Coordinate to ensure USMC interests are represented and fulfilled of the following: project prioritization, funding programming, Department of Defense DD1391 development, collateral equipment development and programming with HQMC Facilities (LF), NAVFAC, III MEF units, consultants and others.
  • Coordinate with Transportation Management Office (TMO)/Distribution Management Office (DMO), if necessary, in the movement of units/personnel in support of the DPRI Program.

Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of and experience with DOD logistics processes, procedures, and policies as it relates to furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) in support of Military Construction (MILCON) projects is required.
  • Familiarity with Collateral Equipment requirements, procurement, and procedures required.
  • Familiarity with USMC logistics procedures regarding collateral equipment and FF&E preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (relevant experience in lieu of degree acceptable).
  • Possess and maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance (Secret Level).
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing with diverse teams of geographically dispersed 
professionals required.
  • Proficiency with database management and information management tools required.

Electronics Technician, Maintenance

Cruz Associates Inc. of Yorktown, VA has an open position and is looking for qualified candidates for an Electronics Technician, Maintenance. Scope of Performance: Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments.  Also, performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write maintenance procedures and document work completed on record sheets to be archived in data base.
  • Create and maintain a calibration program.
  • Conduct inventory control, order materials and be able to order materials off of drawings.
  • Assist with modifications and upgrades of instruments and computer control systems.

Education and Experience – Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to gain/maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Sound technical writing skills
  • General knowledge of maintenance equipment and procedures
  • Competent with MS Access
  • ISA certification or instrument mechanic background preferred

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Cruz Associates Inc. of Yorktown, VA has an open position and is looking for qualified candidates for an Industrial Maintenance Technician I. Scope of Performance: Qualified technician to support maintenance, repair, and installation of explosive and chemical processing equipment. Technician will work in all explosive and chemical processing areas as determined by management or COR.  Technician shall be subject to physical examinations and certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tasks may include but are not limited to routine maintenance, repair, installation and modification to existing or new process equipment.
  • Troubleshoot repairs, modifies, and conducts preventative maintenance on complex electrical, mechanical, and processing systems.
  • Technician may be required to execute written maintenance procedures and document work completed on record sheets to be archived in data base.

Education and Experience – Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to gain/maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Ability to pass Explosives Handler physical and Respirator Fit test
  • Ability to pass Ammo-18 Certification class
  • Sound technical skills
  • Pipefitting/electrical experience strongly desired
  • Sufficient knowledge of mathematics
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs)

Information Technology (IT) Analyst

Scope: Serves as an Information Technology (IT) Analyst, providing IT support with MFP DPRI, MCAG, COMNAVREGMAR, Joint Region Marianas (JRM), III MEF, MFP G6 for Marine Corps Activity Guam (MCAG).

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support in providing IT support.
  • Develop a strategy for IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, telecommunications, voice services, and data centers.
  • Provide technical assistance with software installations, hardware configurations, and communication networking to support daily operations.
  • Develop installation support IT requirements and coordinate with MFP DPRI, MCAG, COMNAVREGMAR, Joint Region Marianas (JRM), III MEF, MFP G6, and others as needed.
  • Prepare IT implementations plans while staying within IT budget.
  • Coordinate and organize IT related communications across stakeholders.
  • Perform general research and analysis, including providing other general ad-hoc support
  • Develop and manage local Share Point site.
  • Support local Security Manager functions in JPAS, Physical Security, and Classified areas.

Education and Experience

  • Three years of relevant Information Technology experience is required.
  • Knowledge of the PACOM AOR and USMC DPRI initiatives is highly desired.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other agencies is highly desired.
  • Possess and maintain a Department of Defense Security Clearance (Secret Level).
  • Possess a Project Manager Professional (PMP) certificate
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, as well as customer service skills due to daily interaction with various levels of rank, authority, positions, both military and civilians is highly desired.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to develop business correspondence such as memos, letters, and email.
  • Must be able to develop spreadsheets, slides and various presentations when needed.
  • Experience working with Navy or Air Force installations is highly desired.

Ordnance Worker
