Cyber Security Analyst

Scope of Performance: The Cyber Security Analyst will provide management and control of the Aviation Maintenance Software Library. This will include maintaining and/or facilitating an updated Certificate of Networthiness on all Aviation Maintenance software. This position will also provide operational coordination for the other DIME cells by de-conflicting and working with external vendors or customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the DoD “Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT)”.
  • Responsible for ensuring testing all code being submitted for an initial/update Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) and identifying security weaknesses to software developers for revision prior to CoN submission.
  • Provide technical guidance, advice, and assistance to organization personnel regarding software application security.
  • Responsible for reviewing and testing all Digital Integrated Maintenance Element (DIME) code being submitted for an initial / update CoN and identifying security weaknesses to software developers for revision prior to CoN submission.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all Aviation Maintenance supported systems/software and their impact on Information Assurance (IA) issues.
  • Provides end-user support and troubleshoot as necessary.
  • Analyzes general information assurance-related technical problems and provides basic engineering and technical support in solving these problems.
  • Provide recommendations regarding system risks, assessments and security controls.
  • Responsible for DIME organization daily Operations Management.
  • Manage and coordinate 3rd party communication to verify meetings, software IA requirements, and software configuration management.
  • Perform special functions in planning, organizing, tasking, guiding, and controlling DIME significant activities and actions across the DIME and external agencies.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers to ensure business needs are met.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Perform routine clerical, administrative, and logistics tasks as required in support of the Aviation Maintenance Support Office (AMSO).

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related technical discipline.
  • 3 years’ experience with Information Assurance programs to include DoD “RMF for DoD IT”, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) reporting, Certificate of Net worthiness (CoN) submissions, and Information Assurance and Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) tracking.
  • Acquainted with DoD and DA regulations governing all approved procedures for procurement and the latest standards for IT to include hardware and software.
  • Detailed knowledge of software development practices to include the implementation of proper security measures within the software and the software interaction with network components.
  • Possesses a Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.
  • Master’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, related technical discipline (Desired).
  • 10 years of SOF Aircraft MT experience (Desired).

Technical Writer

Scope:  This position will work closely with customers to develop and maintain Navy specifications and technical manuals.  Technical assignments for this position are diverse and require the ability to work with little supervision.  Duties include technical documentation review, technical editing, and copy preparation.  Position requires technical writing skills and demonstrated ability in the operation of publishing/editorial software to compose text and tables, copy editing, and art work.   

Responsibilities: (Not all encompassing)

  • Analyzes and reviews style and format of technical documents for compliance with Department of Defense standards, specifications, and instructions.
  • Verifies format, style, content arrangement, and other publication requirements for any technical document that does not conform to existing specifications.
  • Ensures conformance to established specifications (style, format, and publication content requirements).  
  • Ensures correct use of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. 
  • Prepares final documents for printing and distribution.    

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in English, technical writing, education, or journalism (experience may substitute for degree).
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Adobe Pro (2007 and up) required.
  • Secret or Interim Secret security clearance is required.
  • Strong English and/or prior technical editing background desired.
  • Must be highly skilled with keyboard and software programs.
  • Strong attention to detail.

MH-6 Senior Developmental Test Pilot

Scope:  This position provides subject matter expertise for the A/MH-6 platform.  Applicant must be knowledgeable of the aircraft level qualification requirements and capable of interfacing effectively with aircraft subsystems and systems developers and airworthiness qualification engineers.

Responsibilities: (Not all encompassing)

  • Provide technical, analytical, and project management support for the integration of hardware, and software applications.
  • Interprets and refines user requirements and develop potential integration solutions.
  • Monitors cost, schedule and compliance with stated requirements.
  • Recommends to Government appropriate courses of action should technical problems arise or user requirements change.
  • Perform developmental and user acceptance flight tests for hardware and software systems and subsystems.
  • Comply with all flight regulations, rules, and standards IAW latest version of DCMA INST 8210-1.
  • Perform routine clerical, administrative, and logistics tasks as required in support of the SIMO.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years experience with military rotary wing aircraft.
  • Shall be qualified in an ARSOA A/MH-6 series rotary wing aircraft with a minimum of 8 years experience with current aircraft and aircraft related technical systems development, architecture and integration.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in development of systems design, systems applications, developmental and acceptance test including fielding and sustainment.
  • Shall be a graduate of DoD course of instruction for Instructor Pilot or Maintenance Test Pilot.
  • Minimum flight hours:
    • Total Time 2500 hours on rotary wing aircraft
    • Minimum of 1500 hours as Pilot In Command (PIC)
    • Minimum of 100 hours Night Vision Goggle
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
  • Possesses at least a Secret or Interim Secret security clearance.
  • Graduate of DoD Experimental Test Pilot Program (Desired).
  • Minimum of 1000 hours as RCM on ARSOA A/MH-6 series aircraft (Desired).

Industrial Maintenance Technician

Scope of Performance: Qualified electrician to support maintenance, repair, and installation of explosive and chemical processing equipment. Technician will work in all explosive and chemical processing areas as determined by management or COR.  Technician shall be subject to physical examinations and certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tasks may include but are not limited to routine maintenance, repair, installation and modification to existing or new process equipment.  This work includes hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronics, pipe fitting, and steam fitting.
  • Troubleshoot repairs, modifies, and conducts preventative maintenance on complex electrical, mechanical, and processing systems.
  • Electrical tasks range from bending conduit and pulling wire to wiring 3 phase pumps, motor starters motor control centers, and control wiring.
  • Technician may be required to execute written maintenance procedures and document work completed on record sheets to be archived in data base.

Education and Experience – Required: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to gain/maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Ability to pass Explosives Handler physical and Respirator Fit test
  • Ability to pass Ammo-18 Certification class
  • Sound technical skills
  • Pipefitting/electrical experience strongly desired
  • Sufficient knowledge of mathematics
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs)
  • Steam pipe fitter background encouraged

Ordnance Worker
